Oranje Nassau is. as you may know, the core family name of the founding father of the protestant republic of the Netherlands in the sixteenth century.
I guess Willem van Oranje Nassau would have liked the irony that ‘his’ boulevard now carries the name of an iman.
The Oranje’s family name is in the name of the street I’m living at also by the way: Oranje Nassaulaan.
it’s also interesting to note there is a region still named “Glenmore” in Banyuwangi, though the name was Irish origin.
