Outstanding Delegates on Harvard National Model United Nation 2009: Parahyangan Catholic University

This post is a few days too late, and I aware the title is too long. In this occassion, I would like to congratulate the Students from International Relations Faculty, Parahyangan Catholic University for their achievement to be chosen as “Outstanding Delegates” in the Harvard National Model United Nation 2009, annual United Nations Conference simulations held by Harvard University.

This achievement is of course, something to be proud of by the alumni. Just imagine their position, they were assigned as Senegal delegation, whose position is not that strong compared to great powers in international relations. In United Nations conference simulations, blessed you be if you assigned as P-5 or some countries with strong economic and political influence such as Germany. Bite your nail if you are assigned to some unfamiliar country such as Congo, Cote d’ivoire, North Korea or countries whose data could not be found easily in internet. Don’t forget to thank google! :D The amazing team consists of:

  • Tony Mampuk
  • Wafa Taftazani
  • Amelia Rhea Josephine Purba
  • Devina Adriani
  • Andika Putraditama
  • Katrin Praseli
  • Griselda Raisa Susanto
  • Rara Sekar Larasati
  • Yeremia Lt Paat
  • Carla Van Kerkvoorden
  • Mario Masaya
  • Natya Shina Nandana
  • Derisa Zahara
  • Annisa Pagih

Congratulation once again guys! I hope this will make other students inspired to show the world what we have gotten from Unpar, and let’s hope it will make the directors at Unpar allocate more money to sponsor this event in the future, so more students could participate. ;)
