Are you tired using domain site with Wordpress.com? Want to have your own site without pay anything?
If you want to get free domain, simply go to CO.CC, This site offers .co.cc. Simply register yourself, in control panel, click Getting a New Domain, find the name you want, and voila, you get your own free domain.
After that, you will need to configure some setup in 48 hours
A domain is useless without hosting service. You need space to build site. Now go to 000webhost.com, register, create a new account.
Fill the form “I want to host my own domain” with the domain you just got from CO.CC. After your account set up, you will probably get message that you must direct 000webhost DNS server to the domain setup. Now return to CO.CC control panel, go to Domain Settings, click Setup to the domain you just registered, and fill the DNS server you get from 000webhost.
In my case, I was given two DNS: ns01.000webhost.com, and ns02.000webhost.com, fill them in Manage DNS> Name Server 1 & Name Server 2.
Wait for a few hours, and voila! You now have your own site.
Now, you must install the software for your site. Go to your 000webhost control panel, and find Fantastico Autoinstaller
There are many software to choose, if you are casual blogger, you may just want to install wordpress.
Click to install, configure your username, password and blah blah, and you are ready to go.
Your blog still empty? If you are migrating from wordpress.com, you could import the content of your old wordpress.com blog easily. Just go to your old blog, go to Manage>Export>Download File. You will download a XML file that contains all your post, pages, comments, etc etc.
Now go to your new blog, go to Manage>Import>Wordpress, and just upload the file you downloaded earlier, and you will get all your old content in your new blog.
(WARNING: Please ensure your old blog and wp new blog have same version of WP engine, or you will encounter problem when importing the xml file, it will be stressful, believe me. If 000webhost installs older version of wordpress, ugprade it!)

Co.cc is subdomain to me ^_^. Btw, I wonder why Indonesia doesn’t use .id in direct, rather than .co.id. Lame

please make sure your new wordpress in 000webhost is not older than your previous blog or you will face some frustation because not able importing xml file to your new blog.

calvin, gue dah coba masuk ke 000webhost dan copy file ip_confirm nya buat dapetin kode aktivasi, tapi ternyata file itu gagal jalan di komputer gue. kenapa yak? hahahahah…
code aktivasi? waduh apa pula itu, kok kayanya gw pas registrasi ga dapat itu deh
oh ya, free web host, sekali lagi bukan 000webhost, coba cek tempat lain juga deh, registrasi dan lain2nya mungkin lebih gampang dibandingkan 000webhost.
