Just like I said in earlier post, 000webhost deleted my account one-sidedly, telling I’m reporting their TOS after two years. Anyway, I was saved because I subscribed my own blog RSS so I could just copy the missing posts from previous months easily. Comments are gone, but I can live without it anyway, it could have been worse.
After a while, I registered on Cilacaponline, they provide free 350 mb webspace and 10 gb bandwidth, I thought I could use them for a while, and I apparently wrong because my database suddenly nowhere to be found. As the result, my blog wasn’t shown correctly for several days.
I got a good lesson from using free webhosting service. I now realized their service is unreliable, sure you got free webspace big bandwidth, and then what? They could purge your database easily without telling you anything. 000webhost fell from the best into the worst free webhosting service in my judgement.
Seeing cilacaponline is not too reliable as well, I did quick research and compare commercial webhosting in Indonesia. You might want to check these sites if you are looking for affordable webhosting service.
When you are choosing a webhosting service, you must measure how many space and bandwidth you need. My blog currently consuming about more than 50 mb space and approximately 2,5 gb bandwidth per month. I decided to buy at least 100 mb space with 3-4 gb bandwidth in case of emergency since we also must measure the bandwidth we use to login and maintain our blog.
If your blog in “gray area”, means you are probably posting adult or copyrighted contents, job list blog, etc, you should read their term of service first because you might not eligible to use their service and could delete your account without warning.
Also, don’t make decision too fast, don’t pick a webhost only because they are very cheap, look for testimonials on internet, blogs, etc because what you pay is what you get.

This webhost offers several different service. You could choose to use USA, singapore, or IIX (Indonesia) server. Their price is pretty competitive too. I’m actually interested to buy their business package since it offers 100 mb and 20 gb bandwidth only for 90,000 rupiah/year.
Their standard hosting actually is interesting, they offer 100 mb space and 8 gb bandwidth for 100,000 rupiah/year. They offer Standard Hosting,Premium Hosting, IIX Hosting, and Ultimate Hosting.

This is one is also pretty nice, 200 mb webspace with 2 gb bandwidth for 60,000 rupiah/year. Unfortunately my bandwidth probably more than 2 gb. Check their packages here.
