If all the people ib the world become atheist and religions started losing their biggest income source, I won’t be surprised if it might evolve into another market. So I just recently visited this satire religion site, and I think it’s pretty hilarious: Accept Christ as your saviour and get free playstation three.

We here at Landover Baptist Church work full-time as servants of Jesus Christ, and He’s told us about you and your predicament. He’s also given us special instructions on how He wants us to deliver a new PlayStation 3 to your house. It’s as easy as 1-2-3! Understand, Jesus cares WAY more about you than your parents EVER will! They will never love you as much as Jesus loves you! Always remember that. If you hate your parents because they can’t get you a PlayStation 3 for Christmas, He completely understands! He is totally down with that! In fact, lucky for you, in order to follow Him, you are actually required to hate your parents!

I dont think it should be treated seriously, though it’s pretty funny to look at (another one is Flying Spaghetti Church). But again, who knows if someday it will be common practice in future (albeit playstation 3 is too expensive).

but, calvin temanku yang baik, let me tell you the WHOLE verse of Luke 14:26
“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”

“yes, and his own life also”. di situ ada arti kiasan yang amat kontekstual vin.. you deliberately stripped out the main point of the verse there. hehehe..

and i agree that the whole free PS3 idea is hilariously stupid, but your version of Luke 14:26 is just a big no-no to me. :D

Hahahahahaha.. Makanya ko kalo nyalin ayat alkitab jgn spotong2.Jgn nyalin yg cuma lu inginin aja.Salin semua dulu br pahami artinya.. :D
Bahkan klo gw pikir walopun kita salin ayat alkitab scr lengkap aja bisa salah kaprah apalg lu potong2 seenak lu sendiri.. :))
Tapi ok juga searching lu! Klo yg hal2 kontroversial kyk gini lu paling Te-O-Pe dah ngebahasnya.. :)) Gw akuin menarik koq yg lu bahas di sini!!
SAYANGNYA….lu ga liat dulu kbnrnnya sesuai ga ama ayat di alkitab??

yaaah, gw cuma meniru apa yang dilakukan orang2 yang berpoligami kok. plus, emang masalah kalau praktek ini benar2 terjadi? ngga masalah kan? gw sih ngga melihatnya sebagai suatu kesalahan. :)

Klo itu sih urusannya mereka (bukan urusan kita) mo dilakuin ato ga! tapi yg gw masalahin kan penulisan ayat alkitabnya.

Sebaiknya sblm lu ngepost dicek dulu referensinya sudah sesuai atu tidak, lengkap atau tidak..(klo dlm hal ini kelengkapan ayat itu dr alkitab krn makna kontekstualnya udah beda dan bisa membuat salah kaprah).
Kan yg baca blog lu bukan org kristen aja, jd dlm pemikiran mreka pasti beda interpretasinya. Emang gw liat ayat ini lu copy paste lgnsg dr websitenya tp sebaiknya lu cek dr alkitab yg mrpkn sumber refernsinya ato klo ga ayat alkitabnya ga usah disertain drpd cm ayat yg spotong2 krn skali lagi MAKNANYA UDAH BEDA!!. Gitu loh maksud gw.. :)

orang2 yang melakukan praktek poligami biasanya mengutip ayat quran setengah2, nah itu juga yang gw lakukan, gw cuma mengetes efek dari menggunakan agama untuk memanipulasi informasi kok. Masalah? ngga terlalu, selama orang yang dikerjain punya kekritisan, dia ga akan tertipu~

anyway, ini bukan masalah, jadi ga usah dibesar2kan.

Hmm,gini loh ga smua org (trutama di Indonesia) punya pikiran spt itu. Lu liat aja wkt lu bahas ttg buka restoran dg puasa. Gmn reaksinya?? Dtg kan org aneh yg berkomentar si Islam Defender itu.. Nah, itu pdhl cuma bahas ttg rumah makan yg dilarang utk dibuka tapi si Islam Defender udah teriak kafir, babi sgala yg ga hubungannya. Jadi, mksd gw pemikiran org sini blom bs msk yg mengenai hal2 berbau agama kyk gini.. Apalg cm spotong yg lu kutip ini bs jd ajang perpecahan. Gw sih ngeliatnya gitu..
Ok gw ngalah!!Gw rasa lu cukup ngerti dan memilah hal2 yg bs dikonsumsi utk masyarakat sini ato ga.. :)

oooh, loe khawatir soal itu? kalau kaya islam defender dan faggot2 lainnya, gw ga terlalu peduli, toh ini internet. Lagian kalau mereka misalnya marah2, kan gw ga lempar bom terus tinggalin gitu aja, tapi dengan senang hati menerima diskusi soal bom yang gw lempar, tapi berhubung kebanyakan kabur (kaya islam defender), jadi biarin aja, anggap aja angin lalu.
